According to Vhi healthcare in Ireland, nearly 50% off all Holidaymakers do not buy travel insurance and face financial ruin.

Can you imagine we will happily spend £1000 on a holiday and wont spend an extra £30 on travel insurance. Worst than that is if you travel more than once ayear you can buy a yearly travel insurance for about £50 and it will cover your whole family for all your holidays.

The problem with travel insurance is that making a claim can be abit of hassle, but that hassle is only relative to your broken or lost suitcase. Imagine you have a burst appendix, and you need to be operated or something simple as a broken leg, who will pay for your ambulance to the airplane, who will pay for your delayed flight home. If you would have an operation, do you know what an operation would cost you.

I had a friend who was in Moldova and broke his arm, Moldova doesnt really have any professional bone healing hospitals, so the travel insurance flew him to Germany.

The truth is that when you need the travel insurance seriously, they are there for you.

Dont be stupid, by travel insurance

There isnt much price difference between online travel insurance providers, there is so much competition, search relax and book.

Switzerlands 58 registered youth hostels saw a massive 5% increase in traffic through their youth hostels, from 2007 over 2006.
This could be due to that hotels are getting ever more expensive so students or singles are opting for cheaper accomodation.

Truth is who cares about the accommodation when you are on a walking holiday, you just collapse into bed anyway after a good day walk in the mountains.
